Classroom Schedule

   The Full Day Developmental Kindergarten Curriculum offers more in-depth learning experiences for students during their additional time in the classroom.  The additional time is organized to strengthen comprehension and relevance by using extra exploration with concrete, "real" activities.

A.M. Schedule:
8:55 – 9:30:  Arrival

• Put backpacks/coats away

• Check Parent Communications Folders - correspondence from home to teacher

• Attendance, Lunch Choices

• Bell Work: Activity at desk and bathroom

9:30 – 10:00: Circle Time

10:00 – 10:40: English Language Arts (ELA)

10:40 - 10:50:  Snack

10:50- 11:30:  Math

11:30 -12:00: A.M. Learning Centers 

12:10-12:55: Lunch and Recess                                               
 

P.M. Schedule

12:55- 1:00: Bathroom Break

1:00 - 1:30: Story and Quiet Time

Students look through books quietly, teacher works with individual students

1:30-2:00:  Sensory Motor Time

2:00 - 2:30: Science / Social Studies

2:30-3:15:  P.M. Learning Centers and Snack

3:15 – 3:30: Concepts Review

3:30 – 4:00:  Ready for Home

4:06:  Dismissal
